Alicia Learns Vietnamese, Episode #2- Vietnamese is Easy

December 2019 · 2 min read

Hey there, Steemers! I finally got everything in order and Episode #2 is officially up! We tried out Lazada (think Vietnamese Amazon) for the first time and got ourselves a legit mic to combat this windy Đà Nẵng winter so the sound quality on this episode is a whole lot better than in episode one.

I can't tell you how many people I've heard say that Vietnamese is way too difficult (and even impossible) to learn. As someone who has spent years and years talking to people about their language learning experiences, I feel pretty confident saying that learning a new language is challenging, period. Vietnamese, just like any other language has things that make it harder to learn than other languages and things that make it easier. Today’s video focuses on things that make Vietnamese a breeze. I hope it will serve as a beacon of hope for anyone who is currently feeling overwhelmed and stuck in their Vietnamese learning journey or just an interesting view for language lovers who may know very little about the Vietnamese language.

I would love to hear your reactions to my thoughts as a native speaker, a fellow VLL (Vietnamese Language Learner) or just an interested viewer. Thanks for checking it out!
