Green Way of Itsaslur

A two-hour route
Hello friends, today I present the route
Via Verde of Itsaslur.
A tour near Bilbao.
We take the car and a few minutes from Bilbao
We are in the middle of nature.
The first thing we see is the beach of The Sand.
IMGP3723.jpg

A large beach of colored sand.
Our walk starts right here.
A walk for the whole family.
Also for pilgrims.
What makes this stage a wonderful thing along the coast, to make the way to Santiago
The only climb that has are the stairs.

But remember you can rest haha.
Then we find the walk.
IMGP9444.jpg

The sea to our right.
With the beautiful cliffs.
This time we have low tide.
A temperature of 15 degrees and a sun that caresses the skin.
It's spring and we appreciate the sun.
The route is full of fountains.
So you do not go thirsty.

There is always someone walking.
You cross with them and say hello, aupa! That is our greeting.
But the view is directed to the sea, today calm and serene.
As if he wanted to rock us.
IMGP9468.jpg

Here we can see the mines that formerly gave us metal.
Today abandoned many years ago.
The mines were active until 1963.
IMGP9481.jpg

But today we only enjoy the views.
The story is for another time.
Being a natural environment, we find many wild flowers.
From the silent and beautiful Daisy.

IMG_4720.jpg

Even the pretty plumes that I have not been able to identify.
But no matter what they are called they make the eyes go to them.
IMG_4885.jpg

We continue walking, with the murmur of the sea since today it is quiet.
The smell of saltpeter that penetrates our nostrils and reminds you of freedom.

IMG_4794.jpg

Suddenly you see them, the goats in the sun resting and looking at us with indifference.
As if the day were eternal.

IMG_4726.jpg

Later we see what nature does in this walk.
Seeing the twisted trees and the manes in one direction.
Always adapting to the circumstances, as good survivors.
IMG_4753.jpg

We also find little bugs
They run hooked by love jejej
Live the spring, it alters us all.
IMG_4925.jpg

Or birds singing their melodies to the ladies.
From that branch they spread their song.
IMG_4959.jpg

In the distance we see the windmills.
Always rotating with its big blades.
IMG_4782.jpg

Also in the sea we find big boats.
That seems to walk through this great sea that is the Cantabrian.
Carrying goods from one place to another.

IMG_4706.jpg

We have already reached the area where the metal was transferred to ships without a port.
In the open sea, avoiding the cliff with large cables and pulleys.
Today rusty for the time.
But attractive to take some photos and see the red of degradation.

IMG_4816.jpg

We arrived at the end of our walk, which is not the end of the route.
Since it continues several kilometers.

IMGP9506.jpg

We have completed our one-way
Now we have to go back.
I think we have taken more than an hour.
Since every two steps I played photography.
Everything is worth immortalizing.
