Sveti Jure, road to Sveti Jure peak.

In Biokovo Mountains (line of Dinaric Alps) in Croatia, you can find really nice road. I found this road in "The best motorcycle routes" rank. Few months later I went there to check it.

Every travel starts from the map, so: Sveti Jure - Biokovo - route starts from Makarska, because it's the biggest city there. Mountains are a national park, so we need pay 50 kuna for person (May, 2018). Park staff told me that in the park are venomous snakes, so be careful.

This is asphalt road, good enough for every car, but narrow. You need know mountain driving rules. This is winding road, so speed is really slow, you will be use only 2 first gears.
Also motorbike and bike are popular, so choice your favourite transport.

Road starts form sea level, and ends at 1762m above sea.

Summary, the road is worth seeing, and there are no tourist crowds, like another place in Croatia. It's nice experience to drive at mountain peak.

You need 4 hours for this drive (2h up, 2h down), and another 2h for enjoy the views.
On the top is much colder, but sun burns harder, so take enough water.
