This sunday evening, I was alone and hungry. I was in no mood of cooking that evening and I decided to visit market to buy milk and yes to get something to eat. I decided to opt for takeaway this time rather than sitting and eating in restaurant because I wanted to watch Alladin movie on internet while eating :P

Then I decided to go one of the finest restaurant in my sector's market.

Om Restaurant

I got two items packed for myself. Let me show you the food and the takeaway place.

Om Restaurant Takeaway section

Om restaurant is a very prestige and famous restaurant running here. They also have a restaurant on their top floors but only takeaway section on ground floor.

Here is how it looks.

They are mainly offering Indian snacks at their takeaway. Plus they have a little bakery section where they offer freshly baked cakes and pastries. They don't have a menu card because they put the everything in shwocase and put the price tag right there with the food items. So you just have to go to reception, name the item, pay for it and get your token.

Their Indian snack counter looks like this. Where they make food items freshly and put them on display. Food quality is supreme so no doubts there at all.

This is how their little bakery section looks like. Each item is price tagged. I like this way of display. Every food item is so beautiful in presentation.

Their response to orders were real quick, they had a huge number of staff and everything was happening quickly.

The food I took away :D

Here are little goody bag in which the Takeaway service will serve you the order you place:

In the bags, they packed the food properly in envelopes and then in boxes. They served me tissue and spoons too, I liked it because I really need tissue when I am eating, I like to keep my hands clean after every 4 bites of food.

Choco Mousse

I bought this choco mouse which was absolutely yunny. It was fresh and soft, heaven in mouth literally. It had nuts in it and I love nuts. I bought it for 1$ with taxes from the bakery section.

Indian Kachori

The other item I bought is called Kachori.

Kachori is a Indian snack, it is oily but so yummy. I am a die hard fan of Kachori, although they are a bit unhealthy but I like to make my taste buds happy once in a while. They are puffy items with some indian spicy mixture inside them. I bought two, one of them has onion filling and another one has dal filling.

The onion kachori costed double price than the dal kachori. I got both of them in approximately 1$. They also serve sweet sauce with it which we call RED CHUTNEY. It is made of tamarind and is very yummy.

Their menu is mainly famous for Indian snack. They can obviously include other cuisines like chinese, italian and mexican, but what I think is they might not even want to because they are popular for the authentic Indian taste they offer.
