What is BlockFi?

BlockFi is a platform where you earn interest by lending your BTC, other cryptocurrencies, even gold and US dollars. I know there's a lot of sketchy platforms in the crypto space but we have tried and tested BlockFi, it's one of the few crypto lending platforms that we trust.

It is backed by the Winklevoss twins (most would be familiar with them from the movie Social Network) and their exchange Gemini, among other big investors. It is also US-regulated so you do not have to worry that they'll just disappear.

2. You will be asked for your Legal First Name, Legal Last Name and Email. You will also set your Password.

4. The type of account will be asked. For most people like me, it is an Individual account

5 For the next pages, you will be asked your location country, address, phone number, date of birth, source of funds

6 After answering the questionnaire, verify your identity through a valid government ID and a selfie.

The accepted ID would depend on the location country that you declared.
