Hey there my Steemit friends! In this Travel Pro Series we explore art from around the world! The past few years of travel I've really started to become a true fan of the arts. Since walking around is my favorite thing to do, street art probably is my favorite form of art to see! However we'll be exploring art museums, street performances, live music, traditional dance, even laser light shows in this Travel Pro Series!
Here we find ourselves in Belfast Northern Ireland, the home of the Irish Car Bomb and technically part of the United Kingdom. A place with a troubled history going back centuries and still being fought silently to this day. Divided Belfast, is home to the Catholic Pro-Irish Independence population who found themselves in a seemingly endless crooked battle from neighboring Great Britain and the Protestant Irish who sided with them.
Lots of tears and blood has been shed in this part of the country. The question can be asked; does art imitate life or does life imitate art?
