My Post (3).jpg

Good day everyone!

I'm back since yesterday afternoon from my travel through Oman. I immediately started to edit some of the photos I took as I was to excited to look through them and also share some with you. I will split my Oman travel in 4 Trip- Reports and one whole Travel- report about the entire trip. I got roughly 1350 pictures to work myself through, ha!

So today I want to share my first report with you about the Mohammed Al Ameen Mosque which is located in Muscat, Oman. It was definitely one of the most impressive buildings I've ever seen. Wow! What a huge building!

The Mosque

Staying in front of the mosque was absolutely impressive. I have seen quite a few big buildings in my life but the Al Ameen Mosques was something outstanding. Something different by its look and architecture.

The outside of the Mosque was already so impressive for me that I walked around it a few times, looking at it and taking pictures. The next photos I will share are from the inside square of the Mosque.

Even I'm not a religious person - There is no doubt about the special atmosphere which is almost magical and also a bit mystical what you get when you go inside a mosque, temple or church. A place of respect and silence. Entering the Al Ameen Mosque was really stunning. All the handmade details, gold and swarovski crystals which they used for the chandeliers were super impressive.
