Today I am going to share about my first day travel in Melbourne!
Melbourne is a great city with nice coffee and amazing view!
I will definitely visit this lovely city again!

Day1-Puffing Billy, Melbourne Central, Brighton Beach

Puffing Billy Railway

Puffing Billy Railway is a steam railway since 1900s. Nowadays, Puffing Billy Railway run between Belgrave and Gembrook in the magnificent Dandenong Ranges. It takes around 1hr driving from Melbourne.

We chose to start our journey from Emerald to Lakeside, it is only a 10 mins ride. When the steam locomotive is close to the station, you can hear the whistle "boo-boo" like telling you that the train is coming and get READY for your journey!!
Sounds so interesting as you'll never experience this kind of train in HK!

After few mins, view changed from trees to above photos!!!!
Enjoy the steam train journey with blue sky and white cloud.
We have around 1hr to walk around Lakeside, the station have souvenir shop, small cafe, steam train museum etc. As there wont have train pass through the rail in coming 1hr, we spent some time to take photos on the rail!

Nice weather really help you to take a lot of good photos!

Then we walked at the alongside of Lakeside walking track, many locals were enjoying their picnic with families! You can also hire a paddle boat and enjoy a ride at the lake!
Then....Enjoy the fantastic view!!!

We returned to Emerald station and catch our time to the wooden Trestle Bridge near Belgrave station in order to take some photos when steam train crossing the bridge. We only waited for around 5mins then the train crossing the bridge....we say HI! to the passengers and mission completed!!!I use my photos and make the gif as below!

Patricia Coffee Brewers & State Library Victoria

Back to the Melbourne city, we took the free tram to State Library Victoria! A great library with fabulous design, various of exhibition can be held in the State Library as well. The main purpose to visit the State Library is because of the octagonal domed reading room! The reading room contained huge amount of books and held some exhibitions. We took some photos and ran to our next destination!!

Here comes to our favourite coffee shop in Melbourne- Patricia Coffee Brewers! Both coffee(filter or espresso) and pastry are great and tasty. We visited here for 2 days and bought 2 cans of coffee beans to home! Patricia Coffee Brewers shop have limited shop area, so no any seats provided! We chose a corner next to the window and enjoy our nice coffee. Some customer will also sit at the roadside, chatting with frds and enjoy the coffeee!
My favourite pastry, Cinnamon breakfast bun and I forgot name of another cake(best cake ever!!)

Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes

We arrived Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes at the evening. Aims to wait for the sunset! The colourful bathing boxes are eye-catching, the evening sky is also attractive! As it was really cool and windy, we just took photos with the boxes and the sunset then back to the car immediately!

今天我要介紹一下墨爾本行程的第一天行程!
墨爾本是一個充滿美景跟好咖啡的城市!
我一定會再次來這個城市!!

Puffing Billy Railway
Puffing Billy Railway是1900年代已出現的蒸汽火車! 到現在,Puffing Billy Railway在 Belgrave跟Gembrook之間行駛! 從墨爾本駕車一小時已經可以到達車站了!

我們選擇了從Emerald到Lakeside乘一個站,大概只需要10分鐘! 當火車接近站時, 你會聽到遠處傳來汽笛的"呠-呠"聲, 像是跟你說火車來了...你準備好開始你的行程嗎? 聽起來十分有趣, 因為我們根本不會在香港遇到!

我們回到Emerald以後, 立刻駕車到了火車將會經過的木橋..準備拍一下火車過橋時的照片!! 等了5分鐘左右, 火車在我們上方的木橋經過, 我們拍了照片, 跟乘客say HI以後!! 目的達到了!!!!

State Library Victoria
我們回到了墨爾本中心以後, 到了State Library!我去圖書館的目的不是為了看書....而是要看一下那個八角形圓頂的讀書室! 那裡有好多不同的展覽跟館藏, 拍了一些照片以後就跑去了下一個地方!!

Patricia Coffee Brewers
這裡是我跟@minloulou在墨爾本最愛的咖啡店! 這裡的咖啡跟糕點也十分出色! 我們來了這裡兩天, 享受了很好的coffee break 還買了兩罐咖啡豆回家! 店面比較小, 所以我們選了一個靠窗的角落喝咖啡跟拍照 :) 也有一些客人會選擇在坐在街上跟朋友閒聊, 享受那悠閒的時間!
我最喜歡那玉桂卷跟小蛋糕(名字我忘了 lol)

Brighton Beach Bathing Boxes
這個沙灘的小屋..怎能不來看一下呢?
我們在黃昏的時候來了這邊想要等日落...那個黃昏的天空跟彩色的小屋十分吸引! 可是....那天風太猛, 又很冷...所以我們就隨便拍了幾張照就立刻跑回車上了!
