Rest in tents at Cape Tarkhankut. Bowl of Love

Hi friends! Today I'm going to tell you, friends, about my trip with my wife then we weren't married) to a boat ride through the rocks of Little Atlesh to a place known as the Bowl of Love.

So we sailed a few boats from the Fishing State (we arrived a filled bus, so we could not all fit in one boat). We enjoyed the sun, the sea and the fresh air and admired the seascapes and the quaint cliffs, one of which was the Crocodile's Head.

The Crocodile Head Rock is located in the middle between the Big and Little Atlesh. It resembles a crocodile head with an open mouth. You can climb and walk on this rock, but the best view of it is definitely from the sea. Near the rock you can often find divers, there are some beautiful grottoes and an underwater maze.

After we left Crocodile Head behind, we sailed to Little Atlesh. Little Atlesh is famous for its through tunnel, whose length is 98 meters. It is possible to get there without any obstacles, but it is better to walk the distance on the boat, so it is safer and more pleasant. Here, in the Atlesh tract, famous Soviet films, such as "Amphibian Man", "Pirates of the 20th Century", "Dreams of Green", "Peter Pan" and many others, were filmed. When our boat sailed through this tunnel, for a moment we were in complete darkness. After sailing under Little Atlesh, we reached the place known as the Bowl of Love, one of the most romantic places in Crimea.

One of the most popular places on Cape Tarkhankut is the Bowl of Love, in which all tourists and vacationers are always eager to swim. The Bowl of Love was formed millions of years ago, and winds and the sea completed this process. The depth of the bowl is about 6.5 meters, due to the relatively small depth, according to the standards of these places, the water in it is 5-7 degrees warmer than in the sea. This, of course, is used by tourists and vacationers alike. Not far from the Bowl is a small beach, in these places it can be called the best.

Bowl of Love got its name trough the belief that the couple, who would jump into the Bowl water while holding hands and would not break this bond, would be together forever. But if their hands are open, their love will be broken. At the time, I only met my future wife and was ready to jump with her into the water, but she was scared and did not want to risk our feelings that were just being born. We then naturally jumped into the Bowl, but alone, just to swim. One year after that, we have been married for over 6 years. Another couple in love then jumped as well, but they held hands and kept them locked. After that, they met for a year or two, but later they parted ways and have long been not together. Here are the facts for those who believe too much in signs.

While we were sailing by sea, the bus arrived at the Bowl of Love along the shore and we returned in it to our base.
