Poon Hill Hiking in Nepal 1 尼泊尔Poon Hill徒步 上

Today I’m going to share my hiking experience in Nepal.

As mentioned in my previous post, I hiked the Poon Hill trail in Annapurna area. It is a 4-day trekking, also the easiest trail in Annapurna. I think it is a smart choice for beginners.

在之前的文章中提到我去了尼泊尔徒步。今天就来讲讲徒步的见闻和经历吧。
我们选择了最短（4天）也最简单的Poon Hill环线。建议初学者从这条路线开始。

DAY1 NAYAPUL – GHANDRUK (1990M)

The valley view on the way is pleasant with terraces, flowers and friendly people - both visitors and local residents. Everyone was smiling and saying 'Namaste' to people passed by.

这天回过头看其实还比较轻松了。因为海拔还不高，路上的景色是典型的山谷梯田。一路上人们都微笑着互相打招呼。在尼泊尔语中，Namaste就是你好的意思。

The Poon Hill trail is well developed with thousands of paved stairs, which sound good in civil world, but not the same case for hiking. The stairs can be a long and slow torture to your knees. Beginners please be well prepared both physically and mentally.

Poon Hill环线基础建设成熟，基本都是铺好的台阶——估计几万级台阶吧。台阶在文明世界是个好东西，然而在这里是一种缓慢的折磨。千万在身体和心理上都做好准备。想象下当你走了数百级台阶膝盖已经提抗议了，抬头一看转角还有无数台阶的场景。。。

The good thing is there are many small stores and restaurants on the way. Thank the mules carry all the beverages and snacks up.

However, these lovely animals can leave some droppings along the way, which could make it hard for you to place your alpenstock:)

好在安娜普纳徒步一路很多休息站。东西都是骡子背上来的，因此随海拔上升可乐的价钱也在上升，另个相关因素是一路会有骡子屎。。。

事情往往是这样的，背夫们会建议你用登山杖戳准一块石头再迈腿，这样比较省力也不那么伤膝盖，但是当你看到几乎你心仪的每一块石头上都有骡子屎是什么感觉啊。。

碰到骡群的时候，切记靠近山体站稳，不然人家可是屁股一扭就能把你挤下山了哟。

The trail is apparently a breeze to our porters. They were all nice people and always encouraged us by saying that the next stop was only 10 min away, which was totally not the case!

When they said it’s 10 minutes, it was at least 20 minutes to us.

But thank goodness, we finally made the first day.

跟气喘吁吁汗流浃背的我们相比，背夫小哥们穿着拖鞋帆布鞋背着50L背包步履轻盈。意大利人说两公里不可信，尼泊尔背夫说还有十分钟就到了也完全不可信，至少乘以2。
看到小哥们拐进一家客栈，我还以为是休息站，结果他们说出了这一天最动听的话——这是今天的终点。

DAY2 GHANDRUK – GHOREPANI (2710M)

The second day started with watching the sunshine on the Machhapuchhre while toothbrushing. It was the only laid-back moment that day...

早上一边看太阳在鱼尾峰顶上撒上一层金色一边悠闲地刷牙的时候，我完全不知道这将会是怎样痛苦的一天。

It was a long day. We hiked at least for 8 hours that day. We walked up the stairs, acrossed the forests, and saw the heavy fog in the mountains.

这天至少走了8小时，上过台阶，穿越过据说有蚂蟥的原始森林，见过山间的大雾。

The reward of the day is the fresh air in high altitude areas. And a closer look of the Machhapuchhre right from the window.
Most of us didn't take a shower because there were only two bathrooms in the hostel and the hot water is not so hot.

高海拔地区清冽的空气很令人愉悦，尤其开窗看到鱼尾峰更近了。只是这天不能洗澡，一是客栈就两个浴室，二是据说水不热怕感冒。
