昨日、一昨日はコンテストへの参加を考えている方の参考になればと思って、２つの記事を書きました。

ただ、情報が多くてよく解らなくなってきたという方もおられるかも知れませんので、今日は今回のコンテストの規格に合うような記事を書いてみました。アジアのことを書くとややこしいので、イタリアのシチリア島について書いています。
また、最後にコンテストの19のルールのうち、「記事に関する」ルールの抜粋と、「記事の表記」に関するポイントを書いていますので、もしどんなスタイルで書いていいのか迷っているという方がいらっしゃれば、このサンプル記事と下のポイントなどを参照しながら書いて戴いてもいいのかなとも思っています＾＾*
皆さん、こんにちは Hi steemians!
私の初めての海外旅行は19歳の時、短大の春休みの1ヶ月間、マルタ島という小さな島国へ英語留学に出掛けたものでした。マルタ島？と気になる方もおられるかも知れませんが、これはまた別の機会に置いといて、その留学先で出会った友人たちと2泊3日で出掛けたのがイタリアのシチリア（シシリー）島でした。ですのでマルタもシチリアもとても思い出深い場所なんです。
The first time I'd been to overseas was when I was 19 years old junior college student. I stayed Malta island around 1 month to attend some English classes at a small school. I'll write about Malta another time, but I visited Sicily with my school friends because it's not so far from Malta at all. So these 2 islands are my favorite and have a bit special feeling to them.

そして2015年に再び、シチリア島を訪ねる機会がありました。19歳の時はタオルミーナに滞在しましたが、今回はシラクサ周辺に1週間ほどの滞在でした。知人の案内もあって今回はオルティジャという地域の昔ながらの市場へ連れて行ってもらうことができました。
Luckily I had an opportunity to visit Sicily again in 2015. I visited Taormina near from the Mt. Etna when I was 19 years old, but this time, stayed Siracusa area. Our friends took us to hang out to the Old market of Ortigia to enjoy the atmospher and eat fresh seafood which we really like 😊
さすがに海に囲まれた島だけあって、魚介類は新鮮そのものです。
Sicily is the island, so of course there's so many different kind of fresh seafoods at there.
野菜🍆🍅や果物🍊🍉も見るからに新鮮です。
Fresh vegetables, fruits...
しばらく歩くと衣料品やバッグなども販売されています。アフリカ大陸が比較的近いからか、カラフルなバッグも沢山販売されていました。パナマ帽がゴッドファーザーを思い出させます。
And we moved to another area then we could see there's many colorful bags or souvenir from Africa for sell. And we found Panama hat like "The Godfather". haha
そしてそのマーケットの突き当りにはアポロ神殿（シラクサ）というシチリア最古の寺院の遺跡が残されています。紀元前６世紀の建物だそうですので、次元が違いますね。
And at the end of the market there is a ruin of the oldest temple in Sicily, Temple of Apollo (Syracuse). It seems to be a building in the 6th century BC.
少し高くなった神殿跡からはマーケット通りが一望できます。
この日はマーケットを堪能して、新鮮な魚介レストランへ出掛けてランチを堪能しました。この続きはまた別の機会に書きたいと思います。読んでいただいてありがとうございました。
We could see the market street from the temple marker which became a little high. We enjoyed the market and went moved to a fresh seafood restaurant and enjoyed lunch. I would like to write this continuation on another occasion. Thank you for reading.
