Museum of Antiques from the Motherland of mammoths

July 2019 · 2 min read

Most recently, I told about a visit to the Museum in the village of Yudinovo. The Museum is dedicated to the excavations of mammoths and contains a rich exposition of the ancient man. But on the same day we visited the second Museum, located in the same locality. And this place is incredibly surprised us, no less than the previous one.

The Museum of antiquity has a huge number of exhibits of technical devices of the past. There was so much here, but I only took a few pictures, which were already hard to fit in this article.

However, what is there to tell. Just look at these glorious objects of the past era and feel the atmosphere of all the forgotten things that until recently faithfully served their owners.

The Museum has an indescribable smell of antiquity. It is not the smell of decay and dampness, but the thick aroma of the past, like the year you come to visit your grandmother. there are tape recorders, record players, vintage radios and cameras.

Sometimes I wonder how short a person's life is along with his own things. One day our smartphones, tablets and computers will be exactly in the same museums. Our grandchildren and great-grandchildren will walk among the exhibits and ask the guide what these or other gadgets were used for. We ourselves will become gray-haired and will remember with a smile about how we sat in social networks, muddling our personal time, while we could one day fly to the stars...
