Today I rented a motorbike and got myself to the highest falls of the Dalat area. They are 40 meters high. Which isn't that high compared to the previous falls I have visited. Like the Ouzoud falls in Morocco, which was an impressive 110 meters high. However these falls are a lot more pretty than the Ouzoud falls.
Getting to the falls is really far. It takes over 1 hour by motorbike. But the scenery is just wow! I drove through the mountain area of the province. On the curvy road and through the smaller countryside roads. It's all so amazing.
After 1 hour of driving through this beauty I finally make it to the falls. The entrance is 10,000 VND if I remember correctly. It might be 20,000 VND. It's basically free if you convert it to Euro or USD.
The parking lot is on the top of the falls, so you will have to walk down to get in front of the falls. Once you make it down, you'll see a lot of rocks. It is allowed to climb on these rocks. You can get really close to the falls or on the other side if you want to. This is the kind of things that I like. Total freedom.
I was a bit in bad luck because the weather wasn't that great. It started to rain, so I had to get shelter. When it stopped I could continue exploring, but then it started raining again. So I had to go back to the shelter. After that rainfall was over I could continue to the falls again until it started pouring again. But I did manage to get some drone shots here.
When that cleared up I had to leave and head back. I didn't have enough time to explore these falls. I could spend so much time here. But the lighting is amazing on the way back. I'm really enjoying this countryside on the way back. I stop by a farm to take the next picture. It seemed like a family farm. I stopped and asked if I was allowed to take a picture, they said yes and were smiling. In the distance were others waving at me and I waved back.
The drive back is really long again and takes over 1 hour. But it was well worth it. I would totally do this again to be able to see these falls. They are absolutely stunning. I wish I had better weather so I could have more pictures of this place. But I absolutely enjoyed it.
