Visit to the beautiful Zaanse Schans

July 2020 · 1 min read · North Holland

Zaanse Schans is a Dutch town of Zaandam. From Amsterdam Central to Zaanse Schans station is around 17 minutes of travel via the train. As you step in to the station, the cocoa smell from the chocolate factory in the place is the first thing you'll notice. From the station, you have to walk approximately 12 minutes to get there.

It's not difficult to get there as big map is available just in front of the station. You can exactly know where you are at and what landmarks you have to remember.

It's a residential area where you can see wooden houses, mills, shops, workshops, barns, sailing trips, and all other historical form of things or activities that exists.

Visiting Zaanse Schans in North part of Holland is a combination of learning and pleasure. The environment is just so relaxing. You can have a seat having fresh air with a cup of coffee or an ice cream while you're feeding chickens or birds.
