#1 A couple hours at Pura Tanah Lot

It's been a while since we've seen a travel post from @rayshiuimages, this time he's back with a trip to Indonesia. He's in Bali and went to visit a local temple. The star of the temple complex is a small temple lodged on top of a big rock out in the sea. There's a shallow cave at the base of the temple, that's where the altar is. @rayshiuimages waddled across bare footed which wasn't as good idea as he thought due to the uneven sea floor, but probably better than walking around in wet shoes afterwards. Local guides blessed him with fresh spring water at the altar, and then he walked a bit further up the rock to get some photographs before heading back shore.

#2 Hiking Adam's Peak little brother in Ella

@steef-05 is in Sri Lanka and went hiking at Little Adam's Peak, which is a smaller peak compared to Adam's Peak, a very very popular pilgrims hike in Sri Lanka. He left early in the morning to avoid the heat, but was still sweating when he got to the peak. You get a great 360 degree view at the top of the mountain here and while he was resting, watched a guy fly his SD cardless drone because he forgot to bring an SD card with him. Too bad @steef-05 didn't have a spare card to help him out. He headed back down late morning as it was starting to get really hot now. Funny enough, that's when the locals started to do their hikes. Unlike the tourists, they must be used to the heat.

#3 Tour and tasting at the royal wine hut

Most of our travel post talks about how great the places are and how much we enjoyed the travels. @varya-davydova's post is a bit different. She did a wine tasting as part of her visit to a palace at Bulgaria. I like her honest opinion of this experience, and that even though it's free (it's included in the palace entrance price) it would still be good to offer some level of quality to tourists. The originality of the wines is doubtful, prices are extortionate compared to the local supermarkets, and she's pretty sure honey is added to the wine to make is sweeter to cater for the Russian tourists' taste. All that aside, she did eventually taste one that she liked.
