Hey guys! Today I would like to tell you about my stay in Hoi An. The city with 75 000 inhabitants is situated directly at the sea and is an absolute hotspot for tourism in Vietnam.

Hallo Leute!

There was indeed no shortage of tourists at the time of my visit. Especially in the evenings the old town was as overcrowded as the western Venice. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was absolutely unique and beautiful!

This is mainly due to the countless lanterns. Boats, houses, alleys - everything is decorated with colorful lights and this gives the city its special charm!

Unfortunately it is very difficult to find good photo spots because of the crowds. Especially long exposures are hardly possible in the center, because there is almost no space to set up a tripod.

A special highlight was the Chinese New Year, which I experienced in Hoi An. It was accompanied by a huge firework! But also the night market is absolutely recommendable! There is so much tasty street food to try that you have to plan several evenings to taste all of it!

A little outside the centre you can find beautiful sandy beaches, from which you can see to Da Nang, which is only about 30km away.
