Travel Digest

#1 Mt. Everest Base Camp trek - walk among some of the highest mountains in the world

The Mount Everest is the holy grail of all mountains and @digi-me hiked to the base camp which is located 5300m above sea level. She joined a hiking tour which started at Lukla in Nepal at 2800 meters. The whole journey takes 8 days to go up and 4 coming back down. The first day is a pleasant walk, then it gets a bit tiring as she has to deal with the altitude. On the way she passes through dramatic mountain views, glaciers and memorials dedicated to those who lost their lives trying to conquer Mt Everest. Finally after a long walk she gets her first glimpse of Mount Everest and reaches the base camp by day 8.

#2 Travel diaries day 2: Tbilisi - the colorful capital of Georgia

@ctdots takes us to explore the capital of Sakartvelo, Tbilisi in Georgia. The old town is quite touristy, but slow and colourful and there are interesting and random architecture dotted around town. There's the Bridge of Peace which crosses the Kura River and takes you to a big park and the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi, a super-expensive church. @ctdots finishes his post by taking us to some Tbilisi baths, and places to eat.

#3 A NEW GLOBAL LANDMARK 'ICONSIAM'

Our last featured post is from @waybeyondpadthai, she takes us to visit a new global landmark in Bangkok, Thailand. This is a shopping mall, called Inconsiam, and in her words its luxurious, golden and beautiful. In her video, she takes us for a tour of the mall, browsing through all the bling bling shops, and wandering around the many eateries. The video is so well produced that for a moment I thought is was the offical video for the mall. Check it out for yourself.
