"And than I was finally there. "Wow!!! How the heck?!?.." - Even I saw pictures of Wadi Bani Khalid before - Staying there by myself was just incredible. Hard to find the right words for the beauty of this area. Such an incredible spot in the middle of the mountains. Breathtaking!"

"The idea that just a few thick wooden beams were cut into the rocks with huge nails and hundreds of tourists trample on these beams every day is not exactly reassuring. In addition, the road was closed only a few days ago for security reasons - we arrived just in time for the reopening."
